Badge's Game against AF

Friday, October 10, 2008

The 2008 Football season is one game from being over! I am so proud of Badge and Trey they have really surprised me this season. Trey is so into it. He can run the ball so fast! Badge makes all I mean all the tackles and take downs! He is amazingly fast. I look up to them for having so much strength and energy to play! I am so sad for it to be over! I wish we were just starting! Next year cannot come fast enough! I love to watch them play/practice, even in the the rain and snow! One more game on Sat! GO SPARTANS!

What are the Morris's up to!

So I have to say I love to Blog....I just have no time. So I will have to catch up on everything, so we go!

It is now turning fall here in Utah! I love it here in the fall. The mountains are glowing with orange and yellow leaves, the air is crisp and light and best of all FOOTBALL! Badge and trey are playing tackle, Miles is playing flag. I very much enjoy watching them play. I am not sure where they find their fiestyness, well I guess that comes from me, anywho they are good. Badge and Miles are so into it. When they are not playing a game a practicing they are throwing the ball around the yard or IN MY HOUSE!!!!! I guess I should allow it since maybe it can pay for my retirement! Ha! Ha! (if we/they were only that lucky to make a career out of it)

It is funny to listen to what Cali has to say about football. She thinks she is going to grow up and play as well. She says "Mom when I grow up I want to play with a pink football and I want a pink water bottle", she has no idea! I do hope she will want to play some kind of sports.

Speaking of sports....Bubba has found a new one, it is called "Let me run in front of 28 guys with paint ball guns and shoot at me"! If it is not snake eating it is something else. Browse the pictures...he is a goof ball!

Our trip to Joe's Valley

First of all sorry about the picture book above!
We took our last summer camping to trip to Joe's' Valley Reservoir. he kids love to camp, esp when we take it in the motor home. Of course they love it because they can watch tv and have access to the refrigerator whirle they drive. I can see why it is cool. Bubba ON the other hand loves to use the restroom and drive. (not at the same time, as I drive).
We took the wave runners as well. We wish we had a boat but those were almost as fun. We meet up with the Whites, Erskines, Lybberts, Culleys, Halls, Kehos, Wrides and the Mackeys. We had a blast the kids rode the wave runners all day long both days. At night we sat around the fire and ate smores until we were sick. Bubba had a great time surfing with guys and I had a great time wake boarding when I had a chance, the wind was crazy! The boys had the best time doing what they call "Navy sealin" Mark Keho taught them a new trick where they hang from the back of the boat and fall or jump/fall backwards. They did awesome. I was so scared at first, but then when they did it I was so proud. The Hall, Keho and White kids did it too, and they were so brave as well. We also jumped off the cliffs and just had a blast. Again our friends are super fun.

Moms birthday!

I wish our birthdays could be so much fun and exciting as when we were kids. I remember waking up so excited, what was I going to wear? What was I going to do? What was my mom going to give me as a gift? Where was I going to go out for dinner? Now it is jammies until noon, then maybe a quick happy b-day and off to the kids things! Ya that is ok I dont mind! I love taking my kids to their activities. This year was just that. We bought my favorite cake from Baskin Robbins, my kids got me my favorite game "Pit"! Bubba bought me a camera that I had been waiting for forever. We had a great day. My friends of course are just the best. It was like Christmas morning. I have such great friends. No one could be luckier than I.
Later during the week I went out to dinner with all the gals for a b-day dinner. It was Lisa and Suze's b-day as well. Great times.
