Badge's Footbal Season

I am so proud of my boys this year for their effort and skills on their individual football teams. I had such a great time watching them grow in the positions they played. I am so sad that the season is over however I know it is only 10 months away until we start again. I loved it! Trey did amazing and just exceeded my expectations. I was floored. He improved 100% this year!! Badge always just got in there and made every tackle, except a few we don't want to remember. He was amazing!

So I have been sooo lazy about blogging. I think I have let Facerbook take over my life. I just wanted to point out a few highlights of our summer. We had a great time together. Our first trip was to Vancouver, Canada. We drove there. It took us alomost 3 days. The scenery alonf the way was amazing. I would move to the Northwest in a heartbeat! Here are some photos of the trip.
We caught a crab!
We dipped our toes in the river.

Cali got up with her dad for the first time!! She screamed the whole time through, but I think she had a blast!! She had been asking for days to try this new trick, so we finally gave it and it worked. I hope this means when she is older she will be able to do it on her own! Oh I hope so!! Good job Cali!

Cali's Visit to Primary's

As a mother I feel I am am pretty aware of my children's health. I am usually right about most diagnosis....well so for about a week Cali was complaining of a stomach ache. She would tell me about the pain then run off and play. I was assuming it was maybe time for a potty break, or maybe she had too much to eat, too little to eat, too much sugar, or maybe she had caught a little bug, which in my defence had been going around! For about 7 days she complained just once a day!. Well Thurs. Bubba and I dropped the kids off at Grandmas to do a 24 hour that started Fri morn. in the mountains. That night (Thurs) she started a fever and was really lethargic. Grammy took her to the ER. They told her that with Cali's symptoms that she prob had a Urinary tract Infection. So off she went home with her medication's. That night she still was sick! So Sat morn back she went to the ER, they did a ultrasound and found that she may need to have her appendix out. So they referred us to Primary Children's Hospital. Now at this time we were just finishing up our race and had not slept for "a few hours". We get a call to come to the hospital. I felt so bad because one I was not with her and two she had been telling me about this pain for a week!!!!! AHHHH ! So four hours later we find a ride to the hospital ( we had no car of our own in the mountains) and we found Cali she was not looking so good. Within an hour she was in surgery to have out her appendix! Only four years old!! Not very common. Surgeon comes in after all has gone well to tell us it had been ruptured for 2 days on a scale of 1-5 5 being fatal she was a 4! There was puss in her abdomen and the infection had gone to her Liver and need to be scraped off!! I could not believe it. My poor little girl! Oh I just love her! I promised I would never spank or yell at her again!
So after spending 5 days in the hospital she is a new girl! I have not spanked but the yelling ya well it has started. She is still 4 and thinks she is all that! HMMM! It has been two weeks! She is doing great.
So now I am thinking along with my already housekeeping, culinary, veterinary, landscaping and mechanic degrees I had better get my PHD! Cause I am clueless!

Calis friends brought her a get well package! She got these glasses from them! The doctors got a kick out them she wore them most of the day that day!

Cali is going home!
Miles and Cali walking to the play room
Again!

Calis Aunt Dawn Marie and Cousins had ballons and a bear delivered! That was so nice of them.

Our 1st day after surgery was not so chipper!

New Addition to the family!

NO NO...I am still sane! Four is enough!

We bought our first boat! We love it and most of all the kids love it! They are at the perfect age to learn Wakeboarding and such! We went out last sat. and had a blast. Our famly dog "Trouble" can along for the ride. We got him out on the tube! It lasted about 1min before he jumped off,  went under the tube, under water, th kids freaked out. We almost lost the thing! Would mom have been sad?? NO.
We are going to have a blast this summer out on the lake!

Four year old Photography!

So I start my children young with the camera. Cali thinks she needs to play with it all the time, so I let her experiment! Pretty good huh! Ha Ha!

Mother's Day

I love being a mother and wife to my cute family! As much as I yell and scream at them...I do love them. Mothers day was fun. We had Grammy and GG over for dinner. Bubba cooked a wonderful meal, Ham and cheesy potatoes, in which he did a great job! Thanks babe!

Stuffing Cali's shoes to ride Tower of Terror
This is her fake smile, the ride freaked her out!
Hands down favorite ride of the day!
See...barely made it??
Waiting for the bug ride!
The night time parade...

So I guess it might be time to Blog again! I have been so busy that I forget about the fun stuff I get to do in my spare time! Spring break for the kids was fun. It is so nice to have nothing going on. Three weeks ago we took the kids to San Diego. We also spent some time in Anaheim, Bubba's not so happiest place on earth. The kids were so much fun. It was our first time going without having to change a diaper or feed a baby. We actually got to ride most of the rides together too. We also learned a bit about stuffing Cali's shoes "HINT HINT" for those fortunate to be short.
