The Airplane Ride

Cali and I went to San Diego last week. It was her first trip on an airplane, that she can remember. We flew Jet Blue! (The following advertisement was donated by Tara Morris) Have you ever wanted more leg room when traveling the friendly skys? Have you ever wanted 39 satilit tv chanels to choose from? Have you ever wanted that whole can of soda not just a cup of half soda half ice water? Well now you can....with Jet Blue!

I tell you what. I will not ever fly with anyone else. What a great airline. The tickets were comparable to southwest. I was very impressed.

Anyways it was great. Cali had her little headphones and sponge bob and I had my TNT USA etc. She loved it. Even when we hit air pockets she just laughed! I was so proud of her not being scared. It made it so mush easier for me.

The Hostes with the Mostest!

Ok so I finally finished The Host! OHHH I loved it! So I feel bad I told a few people that I did not like it. THAT is not true! It did take me a while to get into it, I am not that smart! So any of you that have not yet started please do and then let me now what you thought! I hope she does add another to this Novel. She is a great writer and I am thankful for her talents! Does everyone know her web page http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/! I am sure you do, it is cool. Her brother Seth is the web master and gives little insights to everything, that is cool! By the way who uses the word COOL anymore??? I guess I do? I am so stuck in the 80's!

My new niece Mckenna

OK So I am not yet a pro at this Blog stuff. I went to get a new layout!!! and did all that and it deleted all of my freinds. I have to manually put them back. AHHHH!

Anyways, things are still great! I am in sunny San Diego. Cali and I are down here for my sisters new baby. "McKenna" She is a beautiful baby. My question is why did my own sister get so lucky to have a boy first then Girl? Hmmmm I guess it is just how it works huh, and I love my three boys.

Just what I thought!

I was so excited to see last nights results. As I have talked to others who have been watching, this is usually the pair that everyone has been deciding on for the finale. I actually really really like both Davids, however Cook to me sounds like every alternative artist out there and what will Archuleta record, a Christmas album? I do have to say Cooks rendition on that Lifehouse song was AWESOME! WHOA! so anyways I just wanted to give my 2 cents about it all. I am excited to see who "America" will choose!

Tara's New Hobbie

Boy its seems to be the older my kids are getting the more hobbies I am picking up. For the last 3 years it has been running! I love to run. If anyone is saying to themselves right now " I hate to run!" I said that before too. It is so much fun. It is my way of releasing that days tension and ant the same time I can stay fit, which is hard to do after 4 kids and Cafe Rio! I also can do it with Bubba. Here is our first run in Moab in 2007. Notice we are in separate pictures, he ran the half marathon I did the 5K. I am so proud of him. Just a side note he was picked (through a lottery) to run the St. George Marathon in Oct. of 2008. Go Bub!

Anywho...the hobby.....mountain biking! Oh what a breath of fresh air! I love it. I am not that good yet nor do I have the courage to do all of the "runs" /"trails"??? Today Margo and Tonya to me to Lambert Park in Alpine. It was just the perfect day for my first ride. It was not too hard, or too easy, it was just the perfect place for it. I am thankful for helmets. There were a few times those trees just jumped right out at me! I am so excited to go again!

I am enjoying life a bit more now that I can be a mom and do the things that I have always wanted to do.

The Host

So I am so excited. I picked up my copy of the new book by Stephenie Meyer! I have not started it yet however I plan on hunkerin down tonight, right after American Idol of course! So those of you who do not know about this author, she is the one who wrote my all time favorite Twilight series. If those are new to you please just stop by your local book store and pick them up. They will not be a waist of your time I promise!
